They are manufactured using CNC machined flanges and mandrel bent T-304 stainless steel tubing. All mufflers are polished stainless steel with a polished stainless steel resonated tip and have been tuned to give a deep aggressive exhaust note, without being too loud. Comptech offers complete systems consisting of headers, B pipes with resonator and mufflers. Comptech uses both its in house DTS engine dyno and Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno to develop all of the headers and exhaust systems we sell. All Comptech headers are 50 state emissions legal.
The Super Drager Exhaust Systems from HKS are designed using an unchambered SUS 304 stainless steel muffler assembly. Large diameter mandrel bent aluminized steel piping and an etched Drager exhaust tip are trademarks of a Super Drager exhaust. Using extensive computer controlled flow analysis, dyno testing, and precision fitment design, HKS produces maximum horsepower without dramatically depleting low-end torque. Each HKS exhaust system is flanged and comes with all gaskets and hardware to provide the easiest direct bolt on installation possible. Additionally, HKS exhaust systems utilize factory mounting points and hanger locations.
