AEM has developed an Air Bypass Valve for its Cold Air Induction Systems. This valve installs on the intake pipe along the same axis as the throttle body and eliminates any chance of water ingestion should the filter element become wet from rain, hail, sleet, snow, flood or any other scenario where the filter element could encounter or become completely submerged in water.

This AEM intake system includes mandrel-bent, 6061 aluminum piping with TIG-welded fittings and brackets, a proprietary filter with a built-in air horn that increases horsepower across the rpm band, complete installation hardware and instructions. Available in titanium-look powdercoating only, and are the only intakes AEM manufactures that are not C.A.R.B. exempt (50-state legal).
