The Super AFC II (Air Flow Converter) is the industry standard for sub computer fuel control. The S-AFC II is designed to fine tune and squeeze power out of existing engine setups by allowing the user to modify the fuel curve with precision accuracy. Since the act of simply bolting on performance products does not make maximum horsepower, the S-AFC II allows the user to calibrate the fuel system in accordance with performance upgrades as they are installed. The AFC modifies the air flow meter/ pressure sensor signal voltage going to the factory ECU (Engine Control Unit) to change the amount of fuel injected. The S-AFC II utilizes a VFD (Vacuum Florescent Display) to display critical data in three different modes.
Features for the S-AFC II include:
Newly designed case and user interface, single button menu navigation, 12 point fuel correction in 200 RPM increments, data storage for two different correction maps, password protection, integrated knock monitor, and 4 different display options.
The S-AFC II, while not completely universal, comes preprogrammed with 15 of the most commonly used air flow meter/pressure sensor maps. By setting the AFC to one of these programs, the user is able to adjust injected fuel amounts by /- 50%. 12 user defined RPM adjustment points allow for fine tuning in 200 RPM increments. Fuel can also be adjusted for part or full throttle situations.
The Deceleration Air Flow Correction cures erratic idle problems for Hot Wire vehicles equipped with an open atmosphere blow off valve. The S-AFC II can also display an incredible amount of data including: Air Flow Capacity (Hotwire and Flap Type only), Engine RPM, Throttle Position, Pressure Sensor voltage, Karmann Frequency, and Air Flow Meter Correction.
The S-AFC II displays data in three different modes: Numerical, Analog, and Graph. Numerical Mode allows the user to monitor up to four different parameters in numbers and also shows peak hold values on demand. The Analog Mode displays up to two values in an easy to read meter style display. Peak Hold is also included in this function. The Graph mode offers real time graph plotting with a Ghost map trace feature built in. The graph can replay movement up to 60 seconds.
CONCEPT:
Piggyback Fuel Computer with 12 correction points in 200 RPM increments.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Modifies air-flow meter signal (pressure signal in some vehicles) to optimize fuel-air ratio; Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD).
Designed to inject additional fuel to any forced induction system. This unit works independently from any other system and it can supplement your main system. Control 1 to 8 sub-injectors by tuning in a fuel map from three adjustable parameters: boost, RPM and injector duty cycle.
e-Manage is an inexpensive programmable fuel management system that allows you to properly tune your factory fuel system without having to change the entire factory ECU system to an expensive stand-alone unit.
The e-Manage system is a universal piggy-back type unit which taps into most Japanese factory ECU wiring, by utilizing the existing sensors. Basic functions will allow the user to slightly alter factory injector duty-cycle (± 20% at 5 preset RPM points) by intercepting and altering airflow or MAP sensor signals. For Honda VTEC cars you can adjust the VTEC shift point. Additional features are built into the system but are only accessible through the use of the e0-1 programmer or our PC-Windows based e-Manage Support Tool communication software There is a 16x16 airflow adjustment map, larger main injector correction adjustment, upgrade air flow meter adjustment, boost limiter cut, anti-engine stall, VTEC-fuel adjustment, real-time map trace, real-time display, real-time communication and basic Data-logging. With the use of our Optional Injector Harness and the software, the unit has the ability to control an additional 16x16 injector duty cycle map and the controls for adding up to 2 additional sub-injectors. If the Optional Ignition Harness and the software are used the unit has the ability to control a 16x16 ignition timing map. All of the above maps can also be map-traced in real-time as well. If the factory range of map or airflow meter is surpassed, you can incorporate Optional GReddy Pressure Sensor and Pressure Harness to set larger scales of adjustment. All installation and tuning should only be made by a trained technician with proper air/fuel monitoring tools. (Some functions may not be compatible with some applications.)
Ideal for optimizing and fine-tuning performance products such as; Exhaust, Air Intake, Intercoolers, Boost Controllers and Turbo upgrades, the e-manage Ultimate does it better than any other system on the market. The GReddy e-manage Ultimate does what no other piggyback ECU can, engineered to preserve the best features of the original e-manage (Economically priced, there is no need for tuning from scratch and it is compatible with most Japanese performance vehicles). Some of the new Ultimate features include; add and subtract fuel and ignition maps, a two-preset memory, A/F Target Map (for self tuning), built-in adapters and correction maps, and extensive data logging with Map Tracing for easier tuning. The new e-manage Ultimate includes the Support Tool CD to access all features from a standard USB cable.
The HKS FCD is an electronic device developed to properly raise the factory fuel cut level on factory turbocharged vehicles. As modifications are made to optimize engine performance, the factory fuel cut is often triggered by higher boost levels which activate a fuel delivery cut-off as a failsafe procedure. Symptoms of fuel cut are hesitation, bogging, and/or illumination of diagnostic indicators.
The electronic signal from the FCD will raise the fuel cut level to accommodate for the additional boost without triggering fuel cut and/or an engine diagnostic light. The FCD installation is designed to be easily integrated with the VPC/F-CON or factory ECU harness.
Warning: Due to the characteristics of this product, higher than recommended or unsafe boost levels may be attained by the installation and use of the FCD. This may result in severe damage to the vehicles engine or other mechanical parts. We suggest a fuel delivery upgrade and consulting a trained technician before the purchase and use of the FCD.
The HKS RevAd is an electronic device designed to multiply a single digital 0-5volt signal. Many electronic air/fuel and timing controllers require a 0-5volt digital signal to operate properly. The HKS RevAd allows for one 0-5volt digital signal to control up to three separate electronic devices without any signal degradation.
The HKS SLD is an electronic device designed to eliminate a vehicles factory speed limiter. When competing on the drag strip or a circuit track, the factory speed limiter can hinder a vehicles performance. The HKS SLD is available in two versions: Type-1 is generally for vehicles equipped with a manual transmission and Type-2 is generally for vehicles with automatic transmissions.
Enhance or modify a VPC. VPC Accessories include harnesses and ROM chips that can be used to change a VPCs program and/or application. Also available are special intake adapters and replacement parts such as sensors, sensor harnesses and mounts.
WARNING: A lean air/fuel ratio can occur which may cause detonation or other severe engine damage. HKS strongly recommends consulting a trained technician before use of any of these products.
The HKS AFR is a fuel-adjustment device that regulates the air/fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. The AFR was designed for vehicles that are lightly tuned (intake, exhaust system, etc.) and need only slight fuel adjustment. The 12 setting adjustment indicator allows the user to enrich or lean the stock fuel settings by approximately 1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner).
Type-D is designed to work on vehicles that utilize a pressure sensor.
Type-L is designed for vehicles that utilize an air flow meter.
HKS also offers an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that can be integrated into a factory or upgraded fuel system. The HKS Fuel Pressure Regulator offers the ability to maintain the necessary fuel rail pressure for high-performance applications. Adapter kits are available for certain applications that allow for easier installation.
The anodized-blue aluminum fuel pressure regulator fitting allows for simple bolt-on integration of the HKS Fuel Pressure Regulator for specific engine applications: SR, RB, & 13B-REW Engines. The outlet side of the fitting is threaded to AN #6. (Fuel Pressure Regulator Not included.)
As boost pressure is increased on forced induction vehicles, the amount of boost that can ultimately be used is limited by the constraints of the engine and injector capacity. When OEM injectors reach their maximum capacity, they can no longer flow any additional fuel for higher boost levels; Therefore larger primary injectors can be installed in the factory location and be controlled by an injector upgrade specific program of the F-CON iS or F-Con VPro system. HKS injectors range in size from 480 to 1000cc and are available in top feed or side feed. Rail type injectors are used on the factory fuel rails or on vehicle specific, HKS fuel rail upgrade kits or AIC Pipe kits. HKS injector harnesses and other miscellaneous injector hardware and fittings are also available for custom applications.
