Each kit comes complete with hard-anodized CNC-machined threaded aluminum sleeves, CNC-wound SAE 9254 racing springs, and mounting hardware that allows up to a 3-inch drop (sometimes more). Our dual-locking perch design has proven to be the most reliable method for securing the spring perches. The key to the coilovers performance and unsurpassed ride quality is the advanced spring design technology that allows the use of higher spring rates with minimal compromise to ride quality.
Sustec Pro S-S
Delivering broad performance for the track to the streets, Sustec Pro S-S allows drivers to fine tune height, dampening and rebound based on track conditions and driver preference. Helper Springs eliminate pre-load of the main spring, which maximizes ride comfort and rebound stability.
4-way front adjustment, as well as 8-way rear adjustment allows drivers to fine tune dampening and rebound tunable to any track condition and driver preference. Front adjustments are located on top of the stock shaft, while rear adjustments are placed at the bottom of the shock case, offering easy access for quick suspension adjustments.

Camber plates allow for easy adjustment of the suspension"s geometry and have durable NMB pillow ball construction for solid response.

Sustec Pro S-S Type II
Drivers can fine tune dampening and rebound based on track conditions and driver preference. For those who desire a coil over kit that is affordable, well balanced, and ready for use on the track, we are now offering the SS Type II without helper springs.

Sustec Pro S-OC
For those who desire both high performance with maximum ride comfort, we offer the Sustec Pro S-0C. The short stroke / short case dampener delivers superior handling without sacrificing strength or ride comfort. Double-cylinder valving design allows for a full stroke within the extremely short case shock body. Low-pressure gases ensure smooth rebound characteristics for even more ride comfort.

Rubber Upper Mount (optional)
Optional upper mounts with rubber inserts absorb vibration and shock are a great upgrade over stock rubber upper mounts that improve handling and response.
Helper Spring
Smaller distinctly-colored helper springs allows for greater flexibility in determining the desired ride height. Prevents pre-load of the main spring when the height is raised as well as excess slack when it is lowered. This ensures a comfortable ride.
Short Stroke / Short Case Design
S-S and S-0 are designed with a short stroke / short case shock absorbers that deliver superior handling without sacrificing strength or ride comfort.
TEAS stands for 'Tanabe Electric Active Suspension and is the counterpart of the new Sustec Pro FIVE & Sustec Pro SEVEN suspension. This compact unit is the brain behind the highly sophisticated new Tanabe suspensions. TEAS is a fully programmable dampener controller that allows for dampening force to be automatically adjusted while driving. TEAS accomplishes this by connecting and using the signal from the vehicles Speed Sensor.
Remote dampening control from within the vehicle is not a new concept by any means. In fact, many Japanese vehicles from the 1980's including the FC3S RX-7 and MA70 Supra had buttons to change dampening ; Unlike other controllers that are simply an update of this older technology, TEAS is a much larger step towards highly digital advanced suspension control and tuning through its speed sensing
TEAS active dampening control is uniquely possible due to the use of the specialized valving of the SEVEN, in conjunction with TEAS; slim, high speed actuators. These actuators change dampener settings in 1/100ths of a second, which is necessary as TEAS can continuously change settings at different speeds.

EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force by controlling a motor installed in the shock absorber while being seated in the drivers seat.
Here is a great entry level tuned TEIN coil-over suspension kit Type Basic - that is a big step above the Sleeve Type Coilover kits with performance struts or shocks. These kits have all the high quality and high performance as all the high end Adjustable Suspension Kits, but are reasonably priced. All kits are ride height adjustable. The damping force (compression & rebound) is non-adjustable. Twin tube design allows the kit to be overhauled.
SS-P offers the same great features as the Super Street, but includes pillowball upper mounts and is EDFC compatible.
