HKS FCD (Fuel Cut Defencer)
The HKS FCD is an electronic device developed to properly raise the factory fuel cut level on factory turbocharged vehicles. As modifications are made to optimize engine performance, the factory fuel cut is often triggered by higher boost levels which activate a fuel delivery cut-off as a failsafe procedure. Symptoms of fuel cut are hesitation, bogging, and/or illumination of diagnostic indicators.
The electronic signal from the FCD will raise the fuel cut level to accommodate for the additional boost without triggering fuel cut and/or an engine diagnostic light. The FCD installation is designed to be easily integrated with the VPC/F-CON or factory ECU harness.
Warning: Due to the characteristics of this product, higher than recommended or unsafe boost levels may be attained by the installation and use of the FCD. This may result in severe damage to the vehicles engine or other mechanical parts. We suggest a fuel delivery upgrade and consulting a trained technician before the purchase and use of the FCD. |

HKS offers the most comprehensive series of meters in engine monitoring systems. Each unit is a precision instrument in monitoring vital engine conditions from boost, oil, and fuel pressure to water, exhaust, and oil temperature, all which are essential for optimal engine tuning. The meters are available in 46mm, 52mm, and 60mm sizes and are offered in 3 different colored face combinations: White face/Black markings, Dark Blue face/White markings, and Silver face/Red markings. The back-lit face and needle provides increased night visibility with a comfortable and non-obtrusive illumination. Both the mechanical and electronic meters share the same matching face design to improve ergonomics and integration of these meters. Constructed of a durable metallic casing, these units have superior craftsmanship and brilliant luster to complement their functionality.
Mechanical Meters
Each mechanical meter incorporates a direct sensor input design for simplicity, reliability and accuracy. Available in 46mm, 52mm, and 60mm, these mechanical units come complete with all necessary sensors and wiring hardware. The new 52mm size gauges are exclusive to the mechanical meters
Electronic Meters
Available in 46mm and 60mm, these electronic counterparts of the mechanical meters are the full-featured versions of the HKS meter series. Each unit is constructed of the same high-impact metallic casing as the mechanical meters. The 46mm electronic meters have a built in warning feature that will illuminate a face mounted L.E.D when an adjustable preset warning level is reached. The linkable 60mm electronic meters also incorporate a peak-hold function and a 30-second playback feature along with a staged warning feature. The advanced 3 stage warning feature, exclusive to HKS Electronic 60mm meters, blinks from orange then to red as the needle gets closer to the preset warning level, it then becomes a solid red when the warning level is reached. The peak hold function will record and allow for later reference of the peak value that has been monitored. The built-in 30-second playback feature records and allows for reference of monitored engine date during a given run. Without any additional hardware, up to 5 of the separate HKS 60mm electronic meters can simultaneous display all peak hold and playback data, thus enhancing the feedback capability that these meters can offer. |

The HKS PFC F-CON is a plug-in fuel management system designed to supplement and refine the OEM fuel curve to maintain a proper air/fuel mixture when increasing boost pressure in turbocharged applications. The PFC F-CON optimizes the factory injector pulse width signal by recalibrating information obtained by both the PFC F-CON absolute pressure sensor and the OEM engine control unit (ECU). Each unit is application specific and includes a preprogrammed ROM for a particular performance stage. --- A Fuel Cut Defencer (FCD) is also included in certain PFC F-CON kits to override the factory fuel cutoff. The PFC F-CON offers easy integration via a plug-in vehicle specific wiring harness and a compact pressure sensor. If additional adjustment of the PFC F-CON is needed, fine-tuning can be performed via the plug-in HKS Graphic Control Computer (GCC). |

The HKS AFR is a fuel-adjustment device that regulates the air/fuel ratio by changing the airflow voltage output to the vehicles factory computer. The AFR was designed for vehicles that are lightly tuned (intake, exhaust system, etc.) and need only slight fuel adjustment. The 12 setting adjustment indicator allows the user to enrich or lean the stock fuel settings by approximately 1.0 A/R point in either direction (richer or leaner).
Type-D is designed to work on vehicles that utilize a pressure sensor.
Type-L is designed for vehicles that utilize an air flow meter. |
