|
Tuning your vehicles suspension is one of the easiest ways to instantly improve overall performance. The HKS Hiper Damper suspension, which offers both ride height and shock dampening adjustments, provides improved handling characteristics while maintaining your vehicles ride comfort. Ride height is adjusted by simply rotating the 60mm spring retainer perches around the chromed steel shock body. The dual interlocking spring retainer perches prevent spring movement and unwanted ride height changes. Dampening can be adjusted at 30 settings (20 on some applications) to deliver the desired shock compression and rebound stiffness for custom tailored driving characteristics. The included anodized aluminum upper Pillowball mounts retain spring placement and improve steering response and maintains suspension geometry. Additionally, some applications offer camber adjustments on the upper Pillowball mounts. Each HKS Hiper Damper suspension system comes with all the need adjustment wrenches, stiffness adjusting knobs, and miscellaneous hardware for a complete installation and tuning.

Hipermax LS coilover kits are built from the same core components as the Hipermax Damper II coilovers but are tuned and valved for touring characterics. The Hipermax LS are specifically designed for \"\"Luxury-Sport Sedans\"\" where improved handling characteristics are achieved while maintaining a desirable ride comfort. Hipermax LS coilover kits are threaded shock body units that utilize aluminum spring perchs for full ride height adjustability (ideal to lower or raise height for various wheel sizes). Each kit also comes with upper pillowball mounts for improved steering response and secure mounting of the spring to the coilover (competitors offer this only as an option). |

HKS Hipermax RS Coilover Suspension Kits
The all-new Hipermax Racing Sport (RS) coilover suspension kits are the first Hipermax line to be engineered as a truly global suspension system. HKS suspension engineers spent over a year developing the Hipermax RS, testing on various race tracks throughout the world, auto cross events and street testing in both Japan and the United States.
The result of all this testing and development is a coilover suspension system that has been precisely valved to dramatically improve handling at a competitive track level, yet still be comfortable even on the harsh road conditions in the United States. HKS was able to achieve this versatility by using an F1 inspired single tube structure coupled with an oversized piston and dual oil and gas chambers. A shortened cylinder body allows suspension travel to be maintained when the car is lowered. The Hipermax RS also features HKS trademark 30-way dampening and rebound adjustability that is adjusted simultaneously for easy tuning. The included anodized aluminum upper pillowball mounts improve steering response, traction and offer a more direct feel to the driving surface. On certain applications camber can be adjusted on the upper pillowball mounts. All HKS Hipermax RS coilover suspension kits are built in-house at HKS Headquarters in Japan. |

The Hipermax III Sport series has firmer spring rates and valving to take advantage of the smoother, more consistent pavement of race tracks allowing quicker, more precise transient response and instant direction changes necessary in competition. In addition, the Hipermax III Sport incorporates HKS' all-new Hiper Linear Piston fluid-channel system, shock-body length adjustability (most applications) and ultra-thick chrome plating of the cylinder shaft for excellent durability and reduced stiction (static friction). Spherical bearings, for precise steering and feedback, are standard - but reinforced, rubber upper mounts are available for those seeking reduced vibration from less-than-smooth pavement.

With the Hipermax III suspension series, the driver gains increased wheel control with improved performance of all vehicle dynamics and increased driver command in all conditions. Hipermax III combines track-quality control with excellent ride and handling characteristics at real-world street speeds. HKS' all-new Hiper Linear Piston Fluid Channel System damping system creates a positive relationship between piston speed and damping force, making it possible to produce a suspension that provides track-level control and feedback with exceptional ride quality at the same time.
In addition, the Hipermax III is shock-body adjustable (most applications) to allow vehicle height adjustment without affecting spring rate and piston stroke. With the Hipermax III%u2019s range of adjustability, precise corner balancing can be achieved. Chrome-plated cylinder shafts provide excellent durability and newly-design rubber upper mounts reduce harshness. (For most applications, optional spherical bearing mounts are also available for enhanced steering feedback.)
