Suspension tuning and aerodynamic wing tuning are similar. You may want to tune your car to have more or less oversteer. Adjustable wings help gain traction by the effect of downforce. The higher the angle of attack on a wing, the more downforce can be achieved. By using an adjustable wing, a driver can fine tune their wing to make more or less downforce. This gives drivers more possibilities at gaining a better advantage on the race track.
